Mission Team Chicago consists of past OCMC short-term mission team members and others interested in supporting Orthodox Missions.

It was founded in 1996 by past OCMC short-term mission team members who wanted to keep in touch with each other, share their experiences, and encourage and support others to go on Short Term missions. Under the guidance of Fr. George Scoulas, of blessed memory, it quickly grew.

We host an annual fund-raising banquet to educate Chicago area Orthodox Christians about Orthodox Christianity around the world and to support missionary efforts. Each year has focused on a different area of the world.
